Art in the Park: Welcome

BIRDHOUSES

This year, Art in the Park features extraordinary birdhouses, built from trees burned in the 2020 Calwood Fire. Thank you 币博286官网 Education Center's Luke and Bella Waldroup for the birdhouse construction!

Each birdhouse is a symbol of hope and resilience as well as a celebration of community. This Art In The Park with Chautauqua involved not only nationally renowned creatives, but also many young artists.

Enjoy the auction and make sure to visit the birdhouses in the magical campus and majestic gardens of the Colorado National Historic Landmark, now through October 16.

Auction proceeds will benefit participating artists, 币博286官网 Education Center's ongoing recovery efforts, and Colorado Chautauqua's vital wildfire protection initiatives.

On October 17, 2020, a devastating fire ravaged over half of 币博286官网's 1,200 acre outdoor campus. In 2021 and 2022, the Colorado Chautauqua joined forces with 币博286官网 to help with their recovery efforts, as well as help raise awareness for Chautauqua's own efforts to protect its National Historic Landmark campus from a catastrophic wildfire.

All wood used for both the bench and bird house Art in the Park was sourced, milled, and planed lumber from trees burned in the fire.
